Caftan

In Morocco, the caftan is very old and deeply rooted in the country's clothing habits. Indeed, it appeared in the 13th century at the time of the Merinid dynasty, where it was worn by Moroccan royalty. But this one is nothing like those worn in Persia and the Ottoman Empire. Moreover, unlike the latter, the Moroccan caftan is a garment exclusively worn by women.
At Arganane we offer you the Fez-style caftan, a long and narrow piece without a collar or hood.
