Chamomile shampoos do not color the hair but they revive the shine of blond hair. This effect has been known for a long time and scientists have found the cause.
The scales of the hair form the outermost part (the cuticle), which surrounds the cortex, which contains keratin (a protein that stiffens the hair) and pigments. The effect of a shampoo with chamomile is not a color, just an optical effect that makes the hair shine. Blond hair, indeed, tends to be fairly transparent. Recall that hair color depends on the relative amounts of two types of pigments, eumelanin and phaeomelanin.
DIRECTIONS : Wet the hair. Spread the shampoo and then rub. Leave for March-May mn. Rinse and if necessary repeat the operation, leaving a few moments. Rinse again thoroughly with lukewarm water.
